S&W Metal Products, for more than 75 years, has remained focused on creating exceptional stability for our customers, vendors, employees, and community. We’ve done that by focusing on where you’re going. And now we have new destinations that we can reach together.
In spring of 2023 S&W Metal Products moved into a new headquarters specifically designed for our needs – and yours – allowing us to do more for our business partners and to do it more efficiently.
Bringing new life to the building to continue the long legacy of metal fabrication and manufacturing forged at the 100,000-square-foot, historic facility in Birdsboro, Pa has been a source of great pride for S&W. The former foundry sits at the original site of The Birdsboro Foundry & Machine Co., the once regional leader in the production of steel, stamping presses, rolling equipment, tooling and more.
Nearly 3 years in the making, this permanent home represents decades of unwavering commitment to local manufacturing. Only by contributing to the growth and success of our business partners has this important milestone become possible.
Our New Headquarters Provide Advantages for You
Updated and thoughtfully laid out, S&W’s production headquarters provides the opportunity to do more for you.
New Location
Situated in Berks County, Pa., we are now geographically closer to many of our longest-tenured and most active business partners while still being conveniently located to all others. Moving closer to our clients was deliberate, allowing for even greater responsiveness and overall service.
Larger Projects
The new headquarters offers significantly more square footage and ceiling height. The sheer volume of space enables us to install and leverage more equipment, including two high-tonnage gantry cranes, to manage a wider variety of customer needs, projects, and commitments.
Improved Coordination
All operations management, customer service, quality and engineering departments are located adjacent to the manufacturing floor to enhance coordination and communication. Everyone involved in your project remains onsite and available for consultation. Along with the rest of the facility, our IT infrastructure is completely updated and accessible throughout the building, allowing quicker access to all elements of your build.
Room to Grow
We setup the facility with flexible spaces for future growth. This allows us greater flexibility for custom projects, larger-scale builds, and establishing customer-specific manufacturing cells to better suit your needs.
